Owlsmoor is to be a 1/144th scale mansion.  It will measure about 7" across the front, be nearly 4" deep, and approximately 4-1/2" high.

The family living there will be Sir Reginald Gross, his wife, Lady Hermoine (Minny to her friends), and their children (quantity as yet undecided).

The scene will be the day of the eldest daughter's wedding.

The front wall was first cut from mount board, then transformed with the use of brick paper and computer-generated stonework.  The doors and windows are cut from white card.

Yet to be added are the front steps, with a porch supported by pillars.
The porch will also form a balcony at first floor level.

The ground floor plan - there is a step up from the entrance into the main hall, which will be divided into one large central and two smaller side sections, with a small room on either side.
A central corridor separates these from the kitchen, with the red tiled floor, and staff quarters.
The Grand Staircase

The treads on the stairs are white marble.

The handrail was made from a piece of white lace.

At the top of the stairs is a semi circular gallery.

The back stairs (left) will be located immediately behind the main staircase.
At the corners are gold coloured headpins, with small glass beads glued on top to represent lamps.
